8 weeks to 8.4km

Like the idea of running but unsure how to start? Need some motivation to reach your fitness goals for 2017?

We have teamed up with adidas to bring you an 8 week programme designed to build up your fitness safely for an enjoyable, fun Ports of Auckland Round the Bays Run experience!

Choose between the beginner and intermediate training programme to improve your fitness level over the next 8 weeks to get you to the start line.

adidas Runners Auckland

No matter what level of runner you are, join adidas Runners Auckland every Tuesday at 6pm at Platinum Sports Co. Victoria Park Market, for an inspiring and social group run led by experienced pace setters. Choose from either 5km, 7km or 10km distances each week, with a new course developed every month. 

On top of the usual 6pm Tuesday run, adidas Runners Auckland will also be adding running bootcamp sessions on the following dates:

- Saturday 11th Feb: Running bootcamp with adidas Runners Auckland leader, Aaron Boslem.

- Saturday 18 & 25th Feb: Running technique, general strength, core stability session with run coach, biomechanist and physiotherapist, Stu Ross.

The Saturday sessions will have a focus on running techniques so that you're in top shape for Ports of Auckland Round the Bays. There'll also be free coffee post-run and spot prizes for those in adidas shoes!

PLUS, attend at least 4 adidas Runners Round the Bays training sessions to recieve free entry into the adidas Runners RTB team including access to the adidas VIP tent. T&C's apply.

For Saturday sessions meet under the Victoria Park flyover 8:45am!
